RunCore launches the rSSD, the world’s smallest single-chip Solid State Drive with standard SATA or PATA interface in BGA form factor. It allows for easy integration of embedded storage into industrial and commercial devices and applications, and comes in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities.
The rSSD can serve both commercial-grade (0 to 70-degree Celsius) and industrial-grade (-40 to 85-degree Celsius) temperature support. It supports ECC, TRIM command, GC command, S.M.R.A.T. command and SSD LifeGuard technologies which provide real-time SSD monitoring and warning capabilities. In a single BGA pakage measuring 14mm x 18mm, RunCore’s rSSD has a fully integrated SATA or PATA interface. 32GB or below models will use SLC Flash while the 64GB model is based on MLC memory.
