T-Mobile announced the SpringBoard, a 4G-capable Android tablet made ny Huawei. The 7-inch tablet runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It sports a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera, and a 7-inch HD multitouch display. The tablet has 16GB internal memory and has microSD card slot for expansion.
The Springboard supports Adobe Flash and is pre-loaded with services and applications including Blio eReader, MobileLife Family Organizer powered by Cozi, Slacker Radio and TeleNav GPS Navigator, a personal GPS navigation and local search application that provides turn-by-turn voice and on-screen driving directions. The SpringBoard supports Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and offers HDMI output. It supports tri-band UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks, including T-Mobile’s 4G, 3G, EDGE networks.
T-Mobile will also release the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G-capable Android tablet. The device is powered by dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and comes with a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen.
