Plextor announced the new M2P series solid state drive designed with the company’s unique True Speed technology to deliver “the highest level of sustained performance, through a consistent read-write speeds, even after an extensive used and periods of continuous operation.” According to Plextor, the new drive offers the world’s fastest random read and write speeds of 70,000 / 65,000 IOPS.
Utilizing Toshiba’s NAND flash, the M2P Series is available in 128GB and 256GB capacities and uses SATA 6Gbps interface. It includes Instant Restore, Global Wear Leveling and Bad Block Management features to deliver maximum performance.
