Vizio’s VTAB1008 8-inch Android tablet is now available at retailers in the US market. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android OS with Vizio’s own V.I.A Plus UI. It has 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and a microSD card supporting up to 32GB cards.
The Vizio VTAB1008 sports a 8-inch multitouch display with LED-backlit and 1024×768 resolution, and a front-facing VGA camera. It supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and is equipped with built-in IR Blaster for universal remote functionality. The tablet offers a micro HDMI 1.4 connector as well as micro USB port and headphone jack.
The Vizio VTAB1008 is available for $299.
