TEAM Group expands its Xtreem line with the new S2 (S25AS2) and S3 (S25AS3) series solid state drives using the high-speed SATA III 6Gb/s interface. Both series offer up to 550MB/s read and 520MB/s write speeds. The Xtreem S3 is equipped with SandForce’s SSD controller for enhanced performance with up to 90000 IOPS (input/output operations per second) random writing speed.
The S2 comes in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and the S3 adds a 480GB model. These 2.5-inch Xtreem SATA III SSDs include support for TRIM Command, Garbage Collection, DuraWrite technology and Wear Leveling. You can also find SMART self monitoring, RAISE technology (data protection, debug and wear balance for single-driver RAID) and ECC correction.
