Silicon Power launches its Velox V30 series SATA III solid state drive with SandForce controller, which is the follow-up to the V20 series. With a high efficient interface and a high performance chip, the V30 offers up to 550MB/s read and 500MB/s write speeds. It is equipped with DuraWrite and wear leveling to extend endurance, built-in ECC technology to gurantee data transmission reliability and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring system.
The 2.5-inch MLC-based Velox V30 is available in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities. It supports TRIM Command and Garbage Collection technology as well. A 3.5-inch adapter bracket is included.
