Apple refreshes its MacBook Air line with new Sandy Bridge processor, Thunderbolt I/O and a backlit keyboard. It comes pre-loaded with new Mac OS X Lion. The MacBook Air comes in 11-inch and 13-inch models and has a durable aluminum unibody enclosure measures an incredibly thin 0.11-inches at its thinnest point and 0.68-inches at its thickest.
The new MacBook Air (mid-2011) is powered by latest Intel Core i5/i7 Sandy Bridge processor, integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 and up to 4GB of memory. Like previous models, new models use flash storage for instant-on responsiveness and a compact design. It comes with a full-size keyboad with backlit and a glass multitouch trackpad. The 11-inch model weighs 2.38 pounds and provides up to 5 hours of battery life, while the 13-inch weighs 2.96 pounds and provides up to 7 hours of battery life.
