Patriot Memory launches the Pyro series solid state drives utilizing a fast SATA III 6Gbps connection interface. Powered by SandForce’s SF-2281 processor, the new Pyro line features TRIM command support, DuraClass and DuraWrite for optimized performance and durability. It also includes RAISE (Redundant Array of Independent Silicon Elements) technology, and built-in ECC protection for longest data retention and drive life.
The Patriot Memory Pyro is based on MLC NAND flash. The 60GB model offers up to 520MB/s read and 490MB/s write speeds with 80,000 (4K aligned) Max Random Write IOPS, while the 120GB and 240GB provide 550MB/s read and 515MB/s write speeds and 85,000 (4K aligned) Max Random Write IOPS performance.
