RunCore announced its T50 series, the first 6Gb/s mSATA SSD. Utilizing SandForce SF-2281 controller for maximum performance, the T50 series offers up to 550MB/s read and 470MB/s write speeds and maximum I/O performance of 60,000 4 KB random write IOPS and 35,000 random read IOPS. The RunCore T50 comes in 30GB, 60GB ($198) and 120GB ($358) capacities.
RunCore also launches the I50 series mSATA SSD using SATA 3Gb/s interface. It offers up to 280MB/s read and 270MB/s write speeds, and a maximum I/O performance of 45,000 4 KB random write IOPS and 30,000 random read IOPS. The I50 comes in 60GB ($178) and 120GB ($308) densities. There is also the RunCore Lite mSATA SSD based on SMI controller that comes in 16GB and 32GB models.
