Belkin introduces its new ScreenCast TV adapter (model F7D4501) for Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) notebooks. Like D-Link’s MainStage, the ScreenCast wireless transfers content from any WiDi-enabled laptop to HDTV. The adapter supports Full HD 1080p resolution and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound and provides HDMI and RCA composite outputs.
The Belkin ScreenCast supports dual-band wireless (2.4- and 5GHz) for the perfect picture and sound. Intel’s WiDi technology also enables a second display for Intel Wireless Display-ready computers, so you can work or surf the Internet on your laptop and your TV at the same time.
Coming in mid-July, the ScreenCast WiDi adapter will be available for $129.99.
