In addition to the S1080 tablet PC, Gigabyte also introduces at the Computex 2011 the new Booktop M2432 14-inch notebook as the follow-up to the Booktop M1405. The new laptop has a stylish design featuring aluminum hairline brushed finish that comes in either red or silver, and is lighweight at just 1.81kg. It measures 27.6mm thick.
The Booktop M2432 is powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge 2nd Core i5 processor and packs integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics. It features a 14-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit LCD display and comes with stereo speakers and THX TruStudio Pro technology. The M2432 offers USB 3.0 connector and has a FlexiBay for slim optical rive or 2nd battery.
The Booktop M2432 also comes with a docking station that sports NVIDIA GeForce GT440 GPU with 1GB video memory. The docking station also includes full I/O connectivity, including six USB ports, HDMI, D-Sub, DVI, and other useful ports normally found on a desktop PC.
