Corsair launches the Force Series 3 solid state drive with SandForce controller. Available in 120GB and 240GB (model CSSD-F240GB3-BK) capacities, the Force Series 3 uses SATA 3 6Gb/s interface. It uses Asynchronous NAND technology and offers 550MB/s read and 520MB/s write speeds.
Corsair’s new 2.5-inch SSD supports Windows 7 TRIM command. It comes with a 3.5-inch adapter to mount it in any standard hard drive bay. 120GB and 240GB Force Series 3 SSDs are priced at $499 and $219, respectively.
