OCZ Technology is bringing two new series of affordable solid state drives, the Agility 3, successor to the Agility 2, and the Solid 3. These 2.5-inch SSDs use SandForce SF-2200 controller and support SATA 6Gbps interface. The former offers up to 525MB/s read, 500MB/s write, up to 60,000 4KB random-write IOPS, while the latter provides 500MB/s read, 450MB/s write, and 20,000 4KB random-write IOPS.
The Agility 3 is available in 60GB ($135), 120GB ($240) and 240GB ($480) capacities and the Solid 3 comes in 60GB ($130) and 120GB ($230).
