Xplore Technologies introduces the iX104C5, which is said to be the industry’s most powerful, rugged, and sunlight-readable PCs ever developed. The device is fully-rugged with multi-layered magnesium chassis and is MIL-STD-810G and IP67 tested and hazaedous location certified.
The iX104C5 is boosted by Intel’s Core i7-620UE 1.06GHz processor, 2GB of RAM (max 8GB), integrated Intel HD graphics and 80GB mSATA SSD drive. The rugged tablet PC has a 10.4-inch XGA 1024×768 LED-backlit LCD display with Dual ModeAllVue Xtreme for best outdoor sunlight readability, biometrics/fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and 3 Megapixel webcam. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and optional HSPA, EVDO Rev.A mobile broadband.
