Kogan releases two new 12-inch ultraportable notebooks, the standard Agora 12-inch and the Agora PRO 12-inch, both running Ubuntu Linux OS with a range of applications such as LibreOffice, media player, Skype and Internet browser.
The standard model (KALTP12STDAA) and PRO model (KALTP12PROAA) both are powered by Intel’s Celeron M SU2300 ULV processor running at 1.2GHz clock speed with integrated Intel GS40 graphics. The former gets 1GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive while the PRO packs 2GB memory and a 500GB hard drive. They come with a 11.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader, and HDMI output. Kogan’s ultraportable notebooks support Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity.
The Kogan Agora 12-inch notebook is priced at $349 and the Agora PRO 12-inch costs $389.
