Asus introduces its new Xonar U3 USB sound card designed to upgrade your notebook’s sound quality easily. While the U3 is just slightly larger than a USB flash drive, it packs support for Dolby Digital Live, Dolby Headphone, Dolby Virtual Speaker, Dolby Pro-Logic II audio technologies to offer users a complete Hi-Fi enjoyment.
The Xonar U3 also includes the exclusive Hyper Grounding technology that works like a watershed to separate audio signals from noise to provide clean and clear sound; and the GX2.5 Gaming Audio Engine to deliver realstic in-game experiences. The device also serves as a headphone amplifier with adjustable gain levels driving your headphones/ headsets to it’s full-performance stage.
Like some USB flash drives, the Xonar U3 has a removable cap that is attached to a lanyard. It comes with piano black finish and a blue LED indicator. A S/PDIF TOSLINK optical adapter and an extension cable are included with the USB sound card.
