Mach Extreme (MX-Technology) introduces its new MX-MDS line of 1.8-inch solid state drives. Utilizing SandForce’s SF-1222 controller, the MX-MDS is based on MLC NAND Flash memory and uses micro-SATA interface.
Mach Extreme’s new SSD comes in 40GB, 60GB and 90GB capacities. The 40GB model offers 220MB/s read and 210MB/s write speeds while the 60GB and 90GB drives deliver 285MB/s and 275MB/s speeds. Coming in mid-April, the MX-MDS 1.8-inch SSDs will be available at Euro 135 for 40GB, Euro 165 for 60GB and Euro 220 for 90GB.
