LG officially announced its new 3D-capable Optimus Pad V900 tablet running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, which is known as the G-Slate in the US market. The 8.9-inch tablet is powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet-optimized OS.
The Optimus Pad is the world’s first tablet to have a 3D camera featuring two 5 Megapixel lens to record 720p 3D video and Full HD 1080p video. It features a 8.9-inch 1280×768 touchscreen, and a front 2 Megapixel camera for video calling. The tablet supports Bluetooth, WiFi and 3.5G HSPA+ connectivity.
LG is planning to ship the Optimus Pad in March.
