Toshiba introduces its all new mini NB505 and updated mini NB305 netbooks with new styling. The former is topped with Toshiba’s new rubberized EasyGrip Finish on the cover that makes it easier to carry, while also reducing fingerprints and a flat keyboard with Black textured finish on the inside; while the latter gets a sturdy Aluminum cover.
Toshiba mini NB505
The mini NB505 is an entry-level netbook powered by Intel Atom N455 processor, while the new mini NB305 sports the dual core Atom N550 processor. Both of them have 1GB/2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. They support WiFi and have a 10.1-inch LCD display and multi-in-one card reader.
The Toshiba mini NB505 starts at $299.99 and is available in blue, brown, green, orange and turquoise while the dual-core mini NB305 at $379.99.
