Jawbone unveils the ERA, the world’s first motion-controlled Bluetooth headset. It features built-in accelerometer integrated with the MotionX motion sensing technology that allow the ERA to detect your natural movements when you interact with it. Out of the box, users can simply “ShakeShake” the Jawbone ERA into pairing mode, and “TapTap” it to answer or end a phone call.
The Jawbone ERA features a 25% larger wideband speaker for HD audio, and military-grade NoiseAssassin 3.0 technology that detects your surroundings and adjusts the inbound volume and intelligibility. The headset is complete with a multi-processor architecture.
Jawbone’s ERA is available in four sophisticated designs: Shadowbox, Smokescreen, Midnight and Silver Lining, for $129.
