Asus’ Eee Pad tablets are just not enough for some users, so Asus is introducing the Eee Slate EP121 tablet PC running Windows 7, for those who need a more complete handheld computing device. First showcased at the Computex 2010, this time at the CES 2011, Asus revealed final specs of the device and changes its name from Eee Pad EP121 to Eee Slate EP121.
Asus Powered by Intel Core i5-470UM dual core processor, the EP121 gets 2GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB SSD and integrated graphics. It has a 12.1-inch 1280×800 capacitive IPS LCD touchscreen and comes with a digitizer stylus pen for precision input and control. The tablet PC supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11n connectivtity and comes with a 2 Megapixel camera, two USB 2.0 ports and mini HDMI output.
The Asus Eee Slate EP121 is now available for $999.00 for 32GB and $1099 for 64GB.
