Other than the dual lens GS-TD1 Full HD 3D camcorder, JVC also introduces the HD Everio GZ-HM960 Full HD digital camcorder with on-the-fly 2D-to-3D conversion function for 3D viewing on the camcorder’s LCD screen without wearing 3D glasses, or any compatible TV.
The JVC GZ-HM960 features a 10.6 Megapixel Back-illuminated CMOS Sensor and a JVC GT lens with 10x optical zoom, 15x dynamic zoom, F1.2 Super bright and 29.5mm wide angle. It has a 3D 3.5-inch LCD display with touch panel. The camcorder offers Enhanced Advanced Image Stabilizer, 24Mbps High bit rate Recording, intelligent AUTO mode, face recognition, Super LoLux technology, Time-Lapse REC and Auto REC, 1920 x 1080/60P output via HDMI and built-in Bluetooth connectivity for integration with other Bluetooth devices. It has 16GB internal memory and supports SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards.
The JVC HD Everio GZ-HM960 will be available in February for $949.95. JVC will also release the HD Everio GZ-HM860 Full HD camcorder that offers most of the features of the GZ-HM960 but lacks the 2D-to-3D conversion function. It will be available for $749.95.
