Sprint is launching the new HTC EVO Shift 4G Android smartphone, the brother of the EVO 4G. The new EVO Shift comes with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard and supports Sprint’s WiMAX 4G network. Powered by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon MSM7630 800MHz processor, the new EVO has 512MB RAM and 2GB of ROM.
The HTC EVO Shift 4G featyres a 3.6-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus and 720p HD video recording, GPS/AGPS support, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n. The phone supports CDMA EVDO 3G and WiMAX 4G networks. It runs Android 2.2 OS with HTC Sense and comes pre-loaded with Sprint applications including Sprint TV® and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile.
The HTC EVO Shift 4G is available at Sprint for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and activation on a new two-year service agreement.
