Toshiba announced its new MKxxx1GRZB series 2.5-inch enterprise solid state drives that utilize the latest 32nm enterprise-grade SLC NAND flash memory from Toshiba and 6Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) interface. Available in 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities, the MKxxx1GRZB series is designed for ease of integration into new or existing tier-0 enterprise storage systems and designes including servers, direct-attached storage and network-attached storage.
Toshiba’s new enterprise SSDs offer sustained 510MB/s read and 230MB/s write speeds and sustained 90,000 read and 17,000 write IOPS performance.
Also released are the 1TB MKx001TRKB and 2TB MKx002TSKB 2.5-inch hard drive with 3Gb/s SAS interface and are intended for 24×7 operation.
