Active Media Products (ActiveMP) releases the new SaberTooth Z4 series 1.8-inch Solid State Drive (SSD) with PATA/IDE ZIF 40-pin interface. Housed in a slim 5mm case, the SaberTooth Z4 is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities.
ActiveMP’s Z4 use MLC NAND Flash and offers up to 80MB/s read speed and 38MB/s write speed. It is interchangeable with standard 1.8-inch PATA ZIF hard drives, and works in most systems that uses a 40-pin ZIF connector with PATA interface. The company also offer the SaberTooth Z, a mini 1.8-inch PATA ZIF SSD that measures only 54 x 32 mm.
