JVC is launching three new Procision Series 3D-capable D-ILA projectors, the DLA-X9, DLA-X7 and DLA-X3. All these 3D projectors have two HDMI 1.4a ports and supports side-by-side (broadcast), frame series (Blu-ray), and above-below 3D transmissions.
These 3D D-ILA projectors feature three 0.7-inch 1920 x 1080 D-ILA devices and are designed around JVC’s third generation D-ILA High Dynamic Range optical engine. They feature 1300ANSI lumens brightness and 120Hz Clear Motion Drive technology with newly developed LSI for frame interpolation black frame insertion.
The top-of-the-line DLA-X9 is built using hand-selected, hand-tested components and provide a 100,000:1 native contrast ratio. It comes with two pairs of 3D glasses along with a PK-EM1 3D Signal Emitter. The DLA-X7 and DLA-X3 sport 70,000:1 and 50,000:1 contrast ratio respectively. The X9 and X7 are designed to achieve THX certification and include a new seven-axis color management system (R, G, B, C, M, Y and orange) that allows precise color tuning.
JVC’s Procision Series DLA-X9, DLA-X7 and DLA-X3 will be available in November for $11,995, $7995 and $4495 respectively. The PK-AG1 3D glasses costs $179 while the PK-EM1 3D Signal Emitter is priced at $79.
