Toshiba adds to its Canvio portable hard drive line the latest Canvio 3.0 that uses the newest SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface for faster data transfer rate at up to 10 times the speed of USB 2.0. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0.
The pocket sized Canvio 3.0 has a rounded rectangular form factor with rubberized edges and high gloss black finish with red, green, blue, white, or silver graphical accents. You can also find inside the hard drive an Internal Shock Sensor and Ramp Loading Technology keep data safe. It is available in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities. The USB 3.0 hard drive comes pre-loaded with NTI BackupNow EZ software for easy backup and complete password-protection with up to 256-bit data encryption.
The price is $119.99 for 500GB Canvio 3.0, $129.99 for 750GB and 1TB for $179.99.
