Bose introduces the VideoWave entertainment system, which basically combines a HDTV with a complete speaker system built in to the bezel. The VideoWave is a 46-inch Full HD LCD TV and Bose has managed to put 16 speakers, including six woofers, into the surrounding frame.

Bose’s ADAPTiQ audio calibration system ensures the best sound possible for your room by recognizeing room size, shape, even furniture, and automatically adjusts the sound. The PhaseGuide sound radiator technology is also included to shoot high frequency audio waves to bounce off adjacent walls to recreate the effect of surround sound.

The VideoWave system includes a separate console set-top box that will provides four HDMI, two component, composite inputs and USB ports. There is also a ClickPad remote control that has only buttons we use the most and a scroll pad. Just touch the pad with your thumb, glide around and click to make a selection. Anything you can control appears right on your HD screen, displayed alongside whatever you’re watching. An iPod dock is also included. The Bose VideoWave entertainment system is priced at 5,349 and will be released on 14 October 2010.
