Sharp Galapagos 5.5-inch
Sharp announced in Japan its Galapagos series color e-book readers, the 5.5-inch Mobile model with a 1024×600 screen and the 10.8-inch Home with 1366×768 screen. Both devices support WiFi 802.11b/g. Over 30,000 newspapers, magazines and books will be released alongside with the Galapagos readers in December.

The Sharp Galapagos readers also feature web browser and offers access to social networking sites. The 5.5-inch model will come in red and silver and has a trackball for easy navigation.
