Viking Modular Solutions introduces the new Element series 2.5-inch Serial-Attached SCSI (SAS) SSD designed to meet the high performance computing requirements for a variety of enterprise computing applications.
The Element features a dual-ported 6Gb SAS interface and an advanced parallel NAND channel architecture. It includes advanced SSD-specific SMART command support, intelligent write management techniques for optimized endurance, power fail data protection to ensure data integrity and protection against catastrophic flash page and block failures. It supports SLC and Enterprise MLC (eMLC) NAND flash memory.
