Pentax introduces the Optio RZ10, a new digital camera with 10x optical zoom lens covering focal lengths from 28mm wide angle to 280mm telephoto (in the 35mm format). The new long-zoom camera record 1280x720p HD movie at 30fps and includes the Movie SR (Shake Reduction) mode.
The RZ10 is equipped with a 14 Megapixel image sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD display. It features a mechanical CCD-shift-type Shake Reduction (SR) mechanism and Pixel Track SR to minimizes camera shake and image blur. The camera also features Face Detection AF & AE function, Burst Shooting of up to 40 images at a maximum speed of 9.1 images per second, Pet mode, Smile Capture, Blink Detection, digital filters for creative visual effects, and Digital Panorama mode.
Pentax Optio RZ10 uses SD/SDHC memory cards and supports Eye-Fi cards. It will be available in classic black, pure white, lime and violet for $219.95.
