Asus is launching the new Eee PC 1015PEM Seashell netbook PC powered by the new dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor. This 10.1-inch Seashell packs 1GB of RAM, integrated graphics and up to 320GB hard drive.
The 1015PEM has a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit LCD display, a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, multi-in-one card reader, built-in stereo speaker, and two USB 3.0 ports. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0. With a 6-cell battery, the netbook offers up to 13 hours of battery life, thanks to Asus’ Super Hybrid Engine. The Eee PC 1015PEM comes in either white, black blue and red with matte finish, or white, black and pink IMR (In Mold Roller) finish.
According to notebookitalia, the price of the 1015PEM will be about Euro 349. Also, there will be Eee PC 1015PN that adds NVIDIA ION 2 graphics for the US market, according to engadget.
