Asus introduces the 90-XB1300DR00010 Extreme Slim External DVD writer with a super thin and compact, lightweight square form factor that measures just 14mm thick. The drive uses USB 2.0 interface and has 1MB buffer memory. It writes DVD+/-R at 8x, DVD+/-R DL at 6x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, DVD-RAM at 5x and CD-R/RW at up to 23x.
The Asus 90-XB1300DR00010 measures 141 x 143 x 14mm and weighs 320g. It gets a brushed aluminium enclosure for a sleek, stylish look.
