Micron announced the new RealSSD P300 solid state drive, “faster system performance and improved data integrity to enterprise environments”. The 2.5-inch P300 uses SATA 6Gbps interface and utilizes SLC NAND flash.
The RealSSD P300 features steady-state input/output operations per second (IOPS), up to 44,000 reads and 16,000 writes, and a read throughput speed of up to 360MB/s and a write throughput speed of up to 275MB/s. It comes in 50GB, 100GB and 200GB capacities.
Micron will begin mass production of the RealSSD P300 in October.
