Buffalo releases in the US the MediaStation BR3D-12U3 USB 3.0 12X Blu-ray burner, which is the fastest external Blu-ray writer on the market. Thanks to the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface, the device offers “unsurpassable burn speeds”, up to 12X and it is also compatible with USB 2.0.
Buffalo’s BR3D-12U3 writes BD-R SL/DL at 12x, BD-RE SL/DL at 2x, DVD+/-R at 16x, DVD+/-R DL at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, DVD+RW at 8x and CD-R/RW at up to 40x. The MediaStation BR3D-12U3 supports Blu-ray 3D technology and comes with the 3D Ready Blu-ray CyberLink Media Suite for Windows supporting 3D Blu-ray, 3D to 3D DVD conversion and DVD upscaling.
