As reported before, Toshiba introduces its dual screen libretto W100, the next-gen ultra mobile concept PC that “goes beyond slates and netbooks”. The W100 is basically an ultra compact netbook equipped with two 7-inch multitouch displays with 1024×600 resolution. The bottom screen can be used as a virtual keyboardor virtual touchpad with haptic feedback . Six keyboard modes are provided such as simple, full, numeric 10-key and split thumb.
This 25th Anniversary libretto is boosted by an Intel Pentium U5400 1.2Ghz processor, 2GB of RAM AND 62GB SSD and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth. There are also a 1 Megapixel webcam with face recognition, a microSD card slot, one USB port and built-in 3D accelerometer. The libretto W100 comes with a 8-cell battery.
