Toshiba announced in Europe the new STOR.E ALU2 series external hard drives. The new series comes in two versions, the 2.5-inch version with up to 640GB capacity and the 3.5-inch version with up to 2TB.
The STOR.E ALU2 uses USB 2.0 interface. The 2.5-inch portable version is designed for users who need a storage device on the go and at home while the 3.5-inch model with a 24 Watt 12V/2A power supply is intended for stationary use at home or in the office.
