Asus offers the Eee PC 1001PQ netbook for kids to learn and surf the web safely. The 10-inch netbook comes with the Magic Desktop software suite offering children with a secure environment to use the computer and the web.
Based on Eee PC 1001P, the 1001PQ comes in Yellow/Black version and the Black/Purple version that has floral pattern on the lid and palm rest. It is powered by Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, integrate GMA 3150 graphics and 160GB hard drive. A 6-cell battery pack is included for up to 11 hours of battery life.
