Spring Design finally ships its Alex Android-based dual-screen e-book reading device. The Alex features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display for Android OS and a 6-inch 600×800 e-ink display for e-book reading. It is powered by a 624MHz PXA303 processor and has 256MB RAM and 2GB internal flash memory.
The Spring Design Alex supports WiFi 802.11b/g and USB 2.0 connection. It uses 2.5mm audio jack, however. It is available in charcoal and white for $399 and comes with a protective cover, earphone, USB cable.
