Asus is planning a new Ion 2-powered netbook called the Eee PC 1215N. Powered by Intel Atom dual core processor, the 1215N gets NVIDIA’s Ion 2 GPU chipset with the Optimus that automatically switch between Ion 2 and integrated graphics.
On the other hand, the previously announced 1201PN, which also gets Ion 2, will come without the Optimus technology.
