Asus shows at the CeBit 2010 its EeeMedia EM0501 HD entertainment center. The device is boosted by an ARM-based Samsung S5PV210 800MHz processor and 512MB of RAM. It has room for a 2.5-inch hard drive.
The EM0501 supports most media formats including H.264, WMV, MPEG1-4, HDV, VC-1, DivX, XviD, AVI, VOB, MOV, MKV, RMVB video, MP3, WMA/PCM, AAC, Dolby Digital, OGG, FLAC audio and common image files, and offers Full 1080p output.
Asus’ new EeeMedia device supports Ethernet and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. Compare to the company’s O!Play line, the EM0501 adds web browsing capability.
