JVC launches its 2010 flagship Everio, the Everio GZ-HM1 Full HD camcorder that is ideal for high-end video enthusiasts and semi-professionals. The HM1 features a 1/2.3-inch 10.62 megapixel Back-illuminated CMOS sensor for recording 1920x1080p Full HD video in AVCHD format and real 10 Megapixel still images.
Thanks to the back-illuminated technology, the sensor is more sensitive to light allowing the Everio GZ-HM1 to capture high quality images even in low-light locations. JVC’s new Everio features a KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS with 16x dynamic zoom, new optical image stabilization system with Advanced Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, ISO up to 6400 for stills, and K2 Technology for High-Quality Audio.
JVC GZ-HM1 is capable of Time-lapse recording, High-Speed Recording (600fps) for Ultra-Slow Motion Playback, 15fps 10 Megapixel Motor Drive Shooting and simultaneous recording of Full HD Video and 5.7 Megapixel stills. It offers One Touch Export and One Touch Upload to YouTube. The HD camcorder has 64GB internal memory and SD/SDHC card slot.
The JVC GZ-HM1 will be available in March for $1,199.95.
