Canon adds to its Digital ELPH line the new PowerShot SD3500 IS (known as Digital IXUS 210 in Europe and IXY 10S in Japan) digital camera. Equipped with a 14.1 Megapixel sensor, the SD3500 IS sports a 24mm ultra-wide angle lens with 5x Optical Zoom and a 3.5-inch PureColor II LCD touchscreen for intuitive operation, larger than SD980 IS‘s 3-inch touch display.
Canon’s new touchscreen camera features Touch Auto Focus, Smart Auto mode, Face Detection, Smart Shutter, Smart Flash Exposure and i-Contrast. The SD3500 IS includes also the DIGIC 4 processor and Servo AF/AE for ultra-fast response.
Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS supports SD/SDHC/SDXC cards and is compatible with Eye-Fi. It has a metal body and comes in four colors, Siler, Black, Pink and Gold. To be released in late February. the SD3500 IS is priced at $329.99.
