Canon adds to its projector line the new ultra-portable LE-5W multimedia projector for business and home entertainment use. The lightweight projector uses DLP display technology and utilizes 3LED light source technology to deliver bright 5000 lumens and 3000:1 contrast ratio. You can expect a long lamp life of up to 20,000 hours.
The LE-5W provides five projection modes to fits users’ needs, from movies to still images, from games to PowerPoint slides. You can find Presentation mode for PC projection, Standard mode for optimal projection in rooms with minimal ambient light, Movie Mode with saturated colors, sRGB mode with calibrated sRGB color space and User mode that allows you to customize brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, tint.
Canon’s new ultra-portable projector supports PC-less projection from USB flash drive, SD card or its built-in 1.5GB memory, with support for MJPEG, MPEG1/2/4, H.264, WMV, and RMVB video; JPEG and BMP photos; MP3, OGG, WMA, AAC, and WAV music; and Adobe PDF 1.2-1.7 and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) documents formats. It has a 1280×800 native resolution and a throw ratio of 1.2:1. There are built-in 2.5-watt stereo speakers.
