JVC announced the new Everio GZ-HM340 digital HD camcorder with Konica Minolta 20x optical zoom lens. It has 16GB internal flash memory and supports SD/SDHC memory cards. The HM340 features a 1.37 Megapixel CMOS sensor, Advanced Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, Face Flow thumbnail and laser touch operation.
The GZ-HM340 supports Time-Lapse recording for time-lapse shooting in one- to 80-second intervals, enabling hours-long segments to be reduced to seconds, such as the continuous recording of changing sky patterns spanning an entire day. It also supports seamless recording over two media and one touch upload to YouTube.
JVC Everio GZ-HM340 has a 2-way grip bely. It comes in black and will be available in February for $499.95.
