Sony Ericsson announced its Vivaz (aka Kurara) touchscreen smartphone running Symbian OS. The Vivaz is actually the second phone in the company’s new family of communication entertainment phones, the first being XPERIA X10.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 8 Megapixel camera with face and smile detection, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM tuner, A-GPS with Google Maps, built-in media player, DLNA support, microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack. The communication device offers easy access to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. It can record 720p HD video.
Sony Ericsson’s Vivaz supports tri-band UMTS/HSPA 3.5G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. It will be available in Q1 2010 in Moon Silver, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby colors.
