Panasonic expands its VIERA LCD HDTV line with its 2010 LCD HDTV lineup. Most of the new models are based on IPS LCD panel offering 178-degree viewing angle and higher moving picture resolution for clear, bright images. Some models will have LED-backlight and some will have integrated universal iPod/iPhone dock.
First of all, the Panasonic LED-LCD D2 series includes two 1080p Full HD models , the 37-inch TC-L37D2 and the 42-inch TC-L42D2, both feature white LED backlight,IPS LCD panel, 120Hz Motion Picture Pro, 24p Smooth film, VIERA Link, iPod/iPhone Dock, VIERA Image Viewer and four HDMI ports. There is also 43-inch Panasonic TC-L42U25 that includes most features of the D2 series but lacks LED backlight.
The LCD U22 Series has three screen sizes, 42-inch TC-L42U22, 37-inch TC-L37U22 and 32-inch TC-L32U22. All models have 1080p Full HD resolution, VIERA Image Viewer, VIERA Link and three HDMI.
Panasonic’s LCD X2 series and LCD C22 series both offer 720p resolution. The former includes 37-inch TC-L37X2, 32-inch TC-L32X2 and 22-inch TC-L22X2 models while later consists of two screen sizes, the 37-inch TC-L37C22 and 32-inch TC-L32C22. Both series have VIERA Image Viewer, VIERA Link. The X2 series gets universal iPod dock as well.
