NEC adds to the MultiSync line a new diagnostic display model for diagnostic review applications in healthcare organizations. The 24-inch MD242C2 uses IPS LCD panel and features 2.3 Megapixel 1920×1200 native resolution. It includes calibration to the DICOM grayscale display function for luminance, and sports an integrated front sensor to constantly monitors and adjusts brightness to maintain the factory DICOM GSDF calibration.
The 24-inch MultiSync display also features 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350cd/m2 brightness (180 cd/m2 calibrated), 14-bit internal lookup table (LUT) for 1,024 levels of gray out of a palette of 3,826. It comes with Quick QA for easy DICOM conformance check without a computer and GammaCompMD QA software for worry-free calibration and conformance to the DICOM standard. It meets the needs of healthcare facilities and has medical certifications, including UL60950-1, UL60601-1 with FDA 510(k) pending.
The NEC provides DisplayPort, DVI-D, HDMI and VGA inputs and an integrated 3-port USB 2.0 hub with DisplaySync Pro. It comes with a 150mm height adjustable, pivot, tilt and swivel stand. The MD242C2 IPS display is priced at $1899.
