Toshiba adds to its Blu-ray Disc protfolio three new models, the BDX3000, the BDX2700 and the BDX2500. Among three, the BDX3000 supports Blu-ray 3D for added entertainment. These Blu-ray players are internet-ready and is able to access online streaming from partners such as Netflix, Cinema Now and Pandora as well as 1080p VUDU content.
The BDX3000 and BDX2700 come with built-in WiFi connectivity while the BDX2500 is wireless-ready with its USB port. All these players support 1080p/24fps Blu-ray playback, BD-Live and DVD upscaling. They support Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio | Essential audio codec and playback of MP3, HD-JPEG, WMA and AVCHD media files.
Toshiba’s BDX2700 and BDX2500 will be available in Sprint 2010 for $249.99 and $199.99 respectively. The BDX3000 will be released in Q3.
