Emerson announced the new COMX-ATOM-420 COM Express module and MITX-ATOM-440 Mini-ITX motherboard, both get Intel’s latest Atom processor.
The COMX-ATOM-420 is a Computer-on-Modules (COM) based on the Type 2 COM Express format. It is powered by the new Atom N450 processor and can be equipped with up to 2GB of DDR2 memory. It can connect to up to eight additional peripheral devices via on-board USB 2.0 interfaces.
The MITX-ATOM-440 is a Mini-ITX motherboard based on Intel Atom D410 or D450 dual core processors. It supports up to 4GB DDR3 RAM and features a PCI Express Minicard slot, dual-display operation from a combination of VGA, LVDS and DVI interfaces as well as a built-in touch screen interface. USB ports are available.
